Perhaps love…

Well I wrote this more than a decade ago and it holds a very special place in my heart!

And she noticed all the direct-indirect hints he had been giving her. It gave her shivers to know that he secretly wished her to be a part of the rest of his life. She almost skipped a beat each time she caught him admiring her delicate curves, got paralyzed whenever they had coincidental eye contacts. That tingly feeling she experienced when their hands accidentally brushed against each other was magical. The very thought of this gent gave her eruptions and vibrations from the universe she never knew existed. They were living a lifetime in each and every moment of their cute serendipitous encounters. But fate had already penned its decision, for them to be apart forever and ever longing for each other’s companionship.

Once he gave up and did not pretend to hide the urge to unveil his feelings to the damsel; perhaps, societal obligations came in between. Supposed love birds wished to be one someday, but their heart ached because both were conscious of reality which won’t let them be together. Still, she was waiting for his honest confession. Blood rushed through her heart when she heard his masculine yet tender voice say her name which was the most melodious music to her ears. The birdie in love turned cherry red blushing, imagining about their unborn children, he spoiling them with love and she pampering them with care

Maybe they were destined to meet in such an awkward situation, which only led to more affection and respect for each other. Thank God! For we would be departing she thought, because one more well spent moment and it would have been difficult.

All she craved was for him to put his anonymous feelings in assured words.

But the saddest part is he would never say and she would never know…

It will be an immense pleasure to learn about your valued viewpoint on this subject. Do share your thoughts in the comment section.
